"Wonderful Fiesta In Vigan"
Vigan celebrates their fiesta with enormous passion and a distinct blend of religious customs, cultural events, and delectable cuisine. The celebrations usually begin with a series of religious activities, such as a novena mass in honor of the city's patron saint, Paul the Apostle, which leads up to the feast day on January 25.
Food is key to the celebration, with local delicacies such as empanada delicious pastry stuffed with meat and vegetables, bagnet crispy deep-fried hog belly, and Vigan longganisa native sausage taking center stage. Food vendors surround the streets, allowing visitors to sample Vigan's culinary delicacies.
